Dance Classes in Nottingham
20 Styles of Dance Class in Nottingham
All Levels Welcome
From nervous first-timers to seasoned movers, every session is genuinely open to all. Our friendly instructors take each step slowly and build it back up, so nobody is left scrambling at the back. Years of training or none at all — both belong in the room. Sorting a hen do? We cover those too.
Weekly Sessions
Regular weekly classes run across evenings and weekends, with venues launching right around the city from the Lace Market to Hockley and out toward Beeston. Come on a drop-in or grab a four-week block to save — no tie-ins, just turn up and dance. Got a first dance looming? We choreograph those as well.
From £8 Per Class
Rock up to a single session for £10, or take a four-week block and each class drops to just £8. There are no contracts, no joining fees and nothing buried in the fine print — grab a style, give it a whirl and judge it for yourself. Keen to begin? Drop us a line.

Dance Class FAQ
The questions Nottingham dancers ask before their first class — styles, prices, experience, where we run and what to wear. Anything else, just email and we will reply within a working day.
Which dance styles can I learn in Nottingham?
Our weekly Nottingham timetable spans 20 styles — partner dances like Bachata, Salsa, Ballroom and Tango; studio styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap; street styles including Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Commercial and Heels; plus Belly Dance, Bollywood, Burlesque, Flamenco, Irish Dancing, K-Pop, Line Dancing and Pole Dance. A professional instructor leads every class, and all levels are welcome — from total beginners to seasoned dancers.
What do dance classes in Nottingham cost?
A drop-in is £10 a class. Prefer to commit? A four-week block is £32, so each session is just £8 — £8 less than paying week by week. You won't find any contracts, joining fees or sign-up tie-ins attached.
Can I join with no dance experience at all?
Definitely. Every class is built for all levels, with instructors breaking each move down and starting from the basics — so first-timers settle in happily next to more practised dancers. Nearly everyone in the room began right where you are.
Whereabouts in Nottingham are the classes held?
We are launching classes across Nottingham, starting in the city centre and rolling out into nearby suburbs like Beeston, West Bridgford and Mapperley. Send us a message to register your interest, and you will be among the first we tell when a class opens near you.
Do I have to book a block, or can I just try one class?
Definitely — the drop-in is built for testing the water. Put down £10 for one class, no commitment at all, and switch to a four-week block the moment you're hooked.
What do I need to wear and bring along?
Go for something comfy you can move in — leggings, joggers, a t-shirt or vest top. The right footwear varies by style: trainers suit street dance, hip-hop and commercial; ballet and contemporary call for soft shoes or socks; heels work for the heels and burlesque classes; and salsa, ballroom and tango are easiest in smooth-soled or proper dance shoes. Bring a water bottle, and we will flag anything style-specific when you book.
