Wedding First Dance Lessons in Nottingham
Your first dance is the bit every guest puts a phone up for, so it is worth more than a shuffle and a spin. We choreograph it privately, just the two of you, pitched at exactly your comfort level — from a calm, confident sway to a surprise key-change that brings the whole room up. Most couples have it nailed in a handful of lessons.
We start with the practical stuff: how much floor your venue actually offers (a Lace Market warehouse and a country-house ballroom are very different beasts), what your outfit and shoes will allow, and where your song asks for a lift or a pause. Lessons run at the studio we hire, or somewhere local to you — your home, a church hall or a nearby studio, evenings and weekends included — and if the hen party is still on the to-do list, we will tackle both together.

Before You Book
The things organisers check first when booking a hen party dance class in Nottingham — what it costs, how to secure a date, the music, mixed-ability groups and getting the video afterwards. Anything else, just email and we will get back to you within a working day.
What does it cost, and is it priced per head?
It is one price for the whole group, never per person — £140 plus venue for an hour, £165 plus venue for ninety minutes, no matter how many turn up. If two of the gang drop out the week before, the cost simply stays put. A bottle of bubbly on arrival is an optional tenner.
How do we lock in our date?
Drop us a message with your date, rough numbers and the theme you fancy, and we will hold it while we confirm a studio and choreographer. A small deposit secures the slot, with the balance due nearer the day — we will lay it all out in writing so there are no surprises.
Can we pick the music, or use our own playlist?
Absolutely — bring your own playlist or pick the track that suits the theme and we will choreograph to it. If you would rather leave the music to us, we have a go-to song for every theme that we know lands well in the room.
Our group is really mixed — will that be a problem?
Not at all, it is what we do best. The routine is built live and split into small pieces, so nervous first-timers, lapsed dancers and the odd show-off all end up moving together. We can dial the energy, and any kneeling or lifting, up or down to suit the group.
Do we get a video of the routine?
Yes — we film the final run-through so the whole group goes home with the routine on their phones. It is the clip that does the rounds in the group chat for weeks, and the one plenty of brides pull up again at the wedding.
Can we build it into a full day in Nottingham?
Easily. Loads of groups make a day of it — brunch beforehand, the routine with us in the afternoon, then straight into the Lace Market or Hockley for the evening. Tell us your other bookings and we will time the session to slot neatly between them.

Nottingham station runs direct trains from London St Pancras (about an hour and three quarters) and Birmingham (75 min), and the NET tram drops you right in the centre, a short walk from the studios.
Parking In Town
The Trinity Square, Lace Market and Broadmarsh car parks are all close by. Coming as a group, a couple of taxis or the tram from your hotel is usually the easiest move.

Most hen groups travel in for the day or the weekend, staying around the centre or out in West Bridgford. Tell us where you are based and we will come to you if that is simpler.
